X-Rays
The dentists at Tampa Bay Smile Makers strive to provide comprehensive care for all of our patients. X-Rays, also known as radiographs, are an essential part of any dental care treatment plan. X-rays assist in the diagnosis of potential oral care issues and are also used to prevent potential problems in the future.
If you are a new patient at Tampa Bay Smile Makers, we perform a full set of dental X-rays, which is our way of caring for our patients and their smiles.
Sealants vs. Fluoride
Both Sealant and Fluoride are preventative procedures that combat tooth decay. Fluoride fights decay and bonds with enamel, increasing the strength of the teeth and giving the tooth a greater resistance to bacteria. Sealant is a thin, plastic coating placed on the biting surface of permanent molars to prevent decay.
